I blame the Android. I got the best phone my money could buy I February last year. It was in most parts, a really excellent phone. except, that typing on a phone sized touch screen is really not very much fun. Like not fun at all. like cause for many autocorrect fails.
So, to satisfy my need for awesome new stuff, I also decided to replace my pc with a kick ass new laptop. And again went out and purchased the most laptop that my money could buy. And ooooh boy, what a splendid device I got for my money, all 3kg 17"screen graphics card and Bang and Olufsen sound of it. I really was very fond of it but it was a little too large for typing stuff in bed and was kinda like buying a Ferrari when all the driving you is for getting milk and bread.
MrT oversaw these purchases and made green eyes at my wicked laptop speakers and so when it came around to his current work laptop beginning to die, we came to the agreement that he would be able to have my kick ass laptop in exchange for something a little more petite. And so he was all "Android Android Android Android"...
Yesterday he presented me with an iPad.
I'll be honest I was a little concerned about using an Apple device which are reportedly notoriously unfriendly to all devices except other Apple devices. But I am pleased to report that I have had no such frustrations. This thing is a little more than alright. It is the very awesomeness that makes Apple users so full of condemnation of non-Apple users. It is petite and speedy and types like you are tickling a toddler (lots of results for very little finger tapping). Other than the mind bending idea of downsizing from 500GB to 32GB... I think I may just be joining the iCrowd.
